The stage is small and similar to Knuckles' Death Chamber. Beware of beetle robots with green light censors; hide in shadows. Start in a red chamber. The main hall leads to the blue area and the first beetle robot. To the right is a passage blocked by boxes containing a ghost. To the left is a passage to the green area.

Proceed straight ahead, waiting for the first beetle robot to pass. In the first hall, break boxes to find a 10 ring capsule. The next room has two accurate robots. The following hall has a metal grating floor and a monkey on a bar above the exit, who throws bombs.

Enter the blue chamber (Egg Fish Chamber). A missile near the center can break metal cages blocking the middle door. The right door leads to the green area. Before the middle door, hit a switch in a pool of water to disable a trap. Enter the middle room to find the level upgrade.

Proceed to the hallway leading to the green area. In the green chamber, one passage leads left to the red area, and another to the right is blocked by boxes. The right passage contains a small room with the Golden Beetle; destroy it for 1000 points.

Go left from the green chamber. You'll enter a room with 8 pillars and a raised platform with an ancient shrine. This room holds many rings and the shrine to reach the lost Chao. Continue to the next passage, which leads back to the red chamber, concluding the tour of Egg Quarters.

This stage is somewhat annoying due to a lack of rings and a flying beetle robot. Collect all visible rings, including those in the room with 8 pillars.

From the start, go left until you reach the room with 8 pillars. On the center platform with the ancient shrine, play the Mystic Melody. A warp will appear above; enter it.

You'll land in a room with a trap above a shallow hole containing the lost Chao. Look left to a picture on the wall with two scorpions. Jump onto this picture and dig through it.

You'll land in a similar room. This time, the shallow hole has no trap but is a diggable picture. Find a switch in boxes on the ground to the left, near the back corner. Hit the switch, then dig through the picture. You'll drop onto a weight in the previous room. Drop to the ground and enter the hole to reach the lost Chao.

This mission is simple due to the small stage size. Use the radar to find key locations or use computers for assistance. Pick up some rings and defeat enemies for points.

Hard mode features more enemies and traps. Beetle robots have invisible censors; listen for them and watch out. They can blast you quickly.

First Key: From the start, run forward to the hall with a metal grating floor. A monkey is above the door, and a cage is on the ground. Do not wait for the monkey to drop a bomb. Continue through the blue room to the next hallway. A missile faces a cage containing a monkey. Do not fire the missile. Wait for the monkey to throw a bomb, grab it, run back to the other cage, and use the bomb to get the key.

Second Key: From the first key location, return to the red room, then take the passage to your right. Enter the room with the ancient shrine and 8 pillars. The key is to the left of the center platform, near a picture with two scorpions. The key is in the scorpion's tail, blocked by a cage.

Bust nearby boxes, then return to the hall you came from. A monkey is on a bar near the ceiling. Wait for it to drop a bomb, pick it up, and run back to the cage. Place the bomb near the cage and step back. After it explodes, jump onto the picture and dig near the scorpion's tail to find the key piece.

Third Key: Continue right to the green room. The key is in a cage near the ceiling. To reach it, put on your sunglasses.
