A quick guide to finding Big the Cat in the Cannon's Core stages for Sonic Adventure 2, covering Tails, Dr. Eggman, Rouge, and Knuckles' paths.

Alright, so you've made it to Cannon's Core, the final set of stages in Sonic Adventure 2! This is where things get intense, but don't worry, we're almost done. The main goal here, besides beating the levels, is to find Big the Cat. He's hidden away in each character's version of Cannon's Core. Let's break down where to look for him!

Cannon's Core - Tails

After you get past those tricky spiked balls at the start, you'll hit a hallway. Watch out for robots dropping down and a blue enemy – take them out. Head through the door into the next room. You'll find a platform that locks you in and takes you down. As you're nearing the bottom, keep an eye out below and to your right, near the elevator shaft. You should spot Big chilling on the wall!

Cannon's Core - Dr. Eggman

When you get to that big shaft you have to drop down, dodging a ton of lasers, look around. There are four time switches, one on each wall. If you check along the left wall, you'll spot Big hanging out near the left switch. Keep your eyes peeled!

Cannon's Core - Rouge

In the starting room, you'll need to make your way up four pillars. Once you reach the fourth pillar, the one with the timer on it, climb onto the top and jump. You should see Big hanging from the ceiling, pretty close to the center piece. If jumping straight up doesn't quite work, try positioning yourself on the side of the pillar and rotating the camera. Sometimes this shifts the camera angle just enough to see the ceiling better and spot him.

Cannon's Core - Knuckles

First up, you need to get to the room that has both a toxic ceiling and floor. You'll also have to dodge a bunch of lasers as you swim your way down. Once you're near the bottom, look closely – Big is hidden in the wall! You should be able to see him through the glass. If not, just swim around the bottom area for a bit, and you'll eventually bump into him.

Cannon's Core - Sonic

As for Sonic's run through Cannon's Core... well, the guide doesn't have any info on where Big might be hiding there. Looks like you're on your own for that one!
