Chao Box 1: Progress through the level until you pass the first loop. After exiting the subsequent tunnel, you will hit speed boosters that launch you across a gap. Eliminate the robot in your path, then turn left past the wooden boxes. The Chao Box is hidden off to the side in this area.

Chao Box 2: After passing the first checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death), continue until you reach the section with multiple springs following a loop. After the springs propel you downwards, proceed around the stage. Follow the main path, and you will soon arrive at an area where you must use the home attack to cross over several beetles. The Chao Box is easily visible as you cross this area.

Chao Box 3: This Chao Box is more challenging to obtain. After the second checkpoint, proceed past the long bridge that offers various routes. At the end of the bridge, you will reach an area with two paths: one you can jump to, and another that requires you to go under a rolling object. The road segment adjacent to the rolling object will have several boxes on it. The final Chao Box is tucked away behind these boxes.
