Checkpoint 1 To Checkpoint 2: Somersault under the spinning lift. Race down the highway, exit the loop, and hit springs to reach a lower highway, then bounce to a higher road. Continue, dodging bombing jets. Somersault under the black spinning object, then home attack (a move that lets you dash forward) across Beetles. Be careful of jets bombing the highway, and jump over the falling piece. Continue downhill. You can use the ramp and pole to swing or skip it. You will reach a higher platform with two robots. Destroy metal boxes to the right and use springs, or go left, use springs, then catch a pulley. Ride the rocket to land before the toll booths. Dodge jet bombs and run through the second checkpoint.

Checkpoint 2 To Checkpoint 3: After the loops, choose the high route via a ramp or stay low. The high route is quicker and leads to the Golden Beetle. The low route requires floating across a large gap. Work your way across, somersault through spinning objects, jump to a platform, and home attack two Beetle enemies. Beware of the large firing jet. Whether high or low, you'll reach another object to somersault under. You can jump to the right highway or stay on the main one; both lead to checkpoint 3, with the right being slightly quicker. Reach checkpoint 3.

Checkpoint 3 To Goal: Run through a tunnel, somersault under a spinning object, hit a loop, and catch a pole. You can drop off the pole or use the black lifts; poles are quicker and safer. After crossing, destroy a robot and wooden boxes (if you didn't use poles) to find a spring. Use the spring and continue down the highway. After the spiral, destroy one final robot before the goal.
