Walkthrough

Follow the pathway to a noisy fan and turn it off. (On Easy Riddle Level, you cannot turn off the fan and do not need to.)

Head through the door to find a swarm of moths blocking the hallway. (On Easy Riddle Level, the hallway is empty.)

Find the bucket near the door in the moth hallway.

Examine the Detergent and Bleach; Heather will discover they can be dangerous when mixed.

Combine and use the Bleach and Detergent while standing over the bucket.

The fan in the previous hall must be turned off for the formula to work.

Heather will concoct the insecticide and run out of the room.

Warning: On Hard difficulty, re-entering the hallway immediately after concocting the insecticide will cause you to take damage.

Turn the fan back on to clear the air.

Head back into the hall; the insects will have been killed.

Move down the long hallway past the dead bugs.

Enter the room north of the stairs (the second door on the right).

Find three packs of Handgun Bullets on the left shelves and Beef Jerky on the right boxes.

Exit this room and head through the northeast pale orange door to find a Closer (an enemy).

Ignore the Closer and pass through the other door to the eastern hall.

Tips

On Easy Riddle Level, the hallway is empty and you can proceed normally without needing to mix insecticide.
Heather won't step back into the hallway on Easy or Normal difficulty due to the strong chemicals.
On Hard difficulty, you can re-enter the hallway immediately after concocting the insecticide, but you will take damage. Turning the fan back on is necessary to clear the air before re-entering safely.
