Learn how to exploit enemy respawns in Brookhaven Hospital's 2F Patient Wing and Room M5 to farm fighting and shooting kills for Silent Hill 3.
Walkthrough
- 1Ensure you have cleared the 2F patient wing and Room M5 naturally to get the Instant Camera. This locks in the initial five kills.
- 2Wait until the "M" door appears after speaking to Leonard.
- 3Enter the hallway maze and then exit back to the 2F patient wing to trigger the respawn of two Nurses in the hall and three in M5.
- 4Equip the Bulletproof Vest.
- 5Run down the hall and blast the revolver Nurse from behind with the Shotgun. Kick her to death (four kicks) for a fighting kill.
- 6Do the same to the pipe Nurse farther down the hall for another fighting kill.
- 7Enter Room M5. Position yourself so the Nurses can attack you.
- 8As they swipe, block (R2 + Square) and counter-attack with the Shotgun. Aim to knock them down.
- 9If two Nurses remain, wait for one to swipe, block, and shoot again.
- 10When only one Nurse remains, you can either block and shoot or blast her directly.
- 11Quickly rush to kick their corpses to secure fighting kills. Be aware that some may get up and die from a Shotgun blast, counting as shooting kills.
- 12Alternatively, use the Katana to downward slice downed Nurses for fighting kills, or block and counter-swing when a solo Nurse gets up.
- 13Exit M5, pass through the M door, and return to the patient wing to respawn all five enemies. Repeat the process.
- 14If Shotgun ammo is low, use the Handgun on the second hallway Nurse (shooting kill) or kill Nurses with the Katana.
Tips:
- Always be careful and block first when standing, unless you can safely attack without retaliation.
- The Bulletproof Vest is highly recommended to limit blocked damage to zero.
- The far Nurse in M5, despite having a revolver, will usually charge you due to the bed blocking her line of sight.
- Aim for at least 65 shooting kills and 70 fighting kills. Some additional fighting kills can be obtained from
