Lower Level South

Alright, let's head into the Lower Level South. Head through the first door on your left and just run past those two tougher Closers in the big room. No need to fight them if you don't want to, just get to the next hallway. Follow it straight ahead until the camera angle changes.

You'll hear and see those crying girl footsteps again, leading you to a wall. You can examine it and push it open. Before you go through, take a moment to check out the scenery – you'll see Valtiel and two female bodies. Pretty grim stuff, but then you'll pass through the hidden doorway you just opened.

Inside this room, you'll find yourself in Alessa's hospital room, which should look super familiar from the first Silent Hill. On the chair, there's an Aglaophotis book. Read it to get the "FOOL" TAROT CARD. On the right shelf just inside the room, grab the HANDGUN BULLETS. In the back of the life support unit, you'll find an AMPOULE. Take some time to examine other parts of the room; Heather has some interesting comments.

Now, you'll need to pass by another Insane Cancer. Head back through the large room with the (now repopulated) strong Closers, and continue down the earlier hallway to your left. Keep going until you see Valtiel strangling a nurse to your left. Just at the end of this hall is another room that looks very familiar from the first Silent Hill. There's a SAVE POINT on the shelf here.

Examine the butterfly frame to get the BRASS KEY. On the desk, you'll find another of Harry's notepads, and on the bed, the Drawing Block sketchbook from the first game. It seems like there's a riddle for another door in here, but we'll need another card for that. Feel free to look around the room a bit more, then head back to the elevator hall in the north.
