Bloody Walkway: Monster or Myth?

Alright, so you've hit the Bloody Walkway. Yeah, it looks pretty gnarly, and the name isn't just for show. The previous document wasn't kidding about this place – there's definitely something nasty lurking here. Seriously, do NOT just try to run across this walkway as is. You will die. It's instant death, no second chances.

Now, you might be thinking about what you could throw at it, maybe a grenade like the author of that other document wished they had. But hey, you've got something even better, something a bit more... creative. Look around near where you entered the walkway; you should spot an electrical outlet. Equip the DRYER from your inventory, interact with the outlet, and Heather will plug it in. Then, just toss the running hair dryer into the bloody water. Trust me, it works like a charm and takes care of the monster so you can finally cross safely.

Oh, and while we're talking about Extra New Games, there's a cool little secret involving some new pipes. If you're playing an Extra New Game, head back to a spot by the edge of the water. You'll get a prompt asking if you want to drop your Steel Pipe into it. Go ahead and do it – equip another weapon first if you're currently using the Steel Pipe. A character will appear and ask you three questions. You need to answer them honestly: No, No, and then Yes. If you get it right, you'll get your Steel Pipe back, plus the awesome GOLD PIPE and SILVER PIPE! But be warned: if you lie even once, you'll lose your pipe and get nothing. And a heads-up, don't try dropping any pipes in there again after this, or you'll lose them permanently.

A quick note on those pipes: as cool as they look, they don't actually hit any harder than your regular Steel Pipe. Plus, using any of these extra weapons will actually lower your ranking by one star, just like any other bonus item. But hey, it's always good to know you can grab them in any Extra New Game once you've beaten the main story!
