Bandit (Katana and Torch)

This guide covers the Bandit (Katana and Torch) enemy in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Learn their weaknesses and effective strategies to defeat them.

Here's how to deal with them:

1. Watch their Katana: Their primary attack is a series of sword swings. Practice deflecting these to build up their posture.
2. Beware the Torch: They can swing their torch at you, which can inflict Burn. If you get burned, try to create some distance and use a Pellets or wait for it to wear off.
3. Group Tactics: If you see a few of them together, try to thin them out with stealth attacks or use a wide-reaching Combat Art if you have one.
4. Posture Break: Like most enemies, breaking their posture is key. Deflecting their katana attacks and landing a few hits when they recover will open them up for a Deathblow.

Tips:

• The Loaded Axe prosthetic can be effective at breaking their posture quickly.
• If you're struggling with their speed, try using the Mist Raven prosthetic to dodge their attacks and reposition.
