Acquiring Enemy Loot

Hey there! So, you're wondering about getting that sweet loot from fallen foes in Sekiro? It's pretty straightforward, but there are a couple of things to keep in mind, especially with enemies like the Decaying Inmates you'll find in the Abandoned Dungeon. When you defeat an enemy, they'll often drop items. For the Decaying Inmates, you can expect to get a small amount of Skill Experience, usually around +47, and some Sen. They can also drop Pacifying Agents, which are quite common, and less frequently, the Bite Down skill. Remember, the Decaying Inmates are a bit unique. They have a grab attack that deals a good chunk of Vitality and Posture damage, and it doesn't show the usual Perilous Kanji warning. If you get grabbed, mash those buttons like crazy! It'll help Wolf break free faster and take less damage. Also, if you're having trouble with them taking two Deathblows to defeat, try using fire-based Prosthetic Tools like the Flame Vent or the Flaming Axe. Applying fire damage means you'll only need one Deathblow to finish them off for good. Keep an eye out for swarms of Crickets nearby too, as locking onto them can sometimes be a pain when you're trying to focus on the enemy.
