Phases:

1. Phase 1: The Frantic Ape
   This is where the ape is at its most aggressive. It'll charge, swipe, and slam its body around. The key here is to stay mobile and punish its openings. When it rears up to do a massive overhead slam, that's your cue to get a few hits in. Watch out for its terrifying scream – if you get caught in it, you'll suffer from Terror.
2. Phase 2: The Headless Ape
   After taking enough damage, the ape will rip its own head off and continue fighting. This phase is a bit slower but introduces a new, deadly move: a massive area-of-effect scream that inflicts Terror. When you see it preparing this, get as far away as possible. It also gains a new sword attack. Keep dodging and looking for openings, especially after its big lunges.

Strategy:

• Stay Close: It sounds counter-intuitive, but staying close to the ape in phase one makes it easier to dodge its wide attacks and punish its recovery. Get behind it when you can.
