Violas Daughter
Follow our Bloodborne guide to complete Viola's Daughter's questline, making key decisions after defeating Father Gascoigne and Rom for unique rewards.
Alright, so after you've dealt with Father Gascoigne, there's a little side-quest involving Viola's Daughter that you can pick up. Head to the top of the building where you found Gascoigne and grab the Red Jeweled Brooch. Bring it back to the little girl.
Now, you've got a choice to make: give her the brooch or keep it. This decision actually branches the questline and affects what rewards you get later.
If you return the brooch: The girl will vanish. The next time you reload the area, head into the sewers. You'll need to fight the Maneater Boar there to get the Red Messenger Ribbon.
If you withhold the brooch: You get to decide where to send her. You can send her to Oedon Chapel or Iosefka's Clinic. Each choice has a different outcome:
- Send her to Oedon Chapel: She won't make it there alive, unfortunately. You'll still get the Red Messenger Ribbon from the Maneater Boar, just like if you'd returned the brooch initially.
- Send her to Iosefka's Clinic: You'll get Lead Elixir x2 from Iosefka right away. However, she'll eventually turn into a beast due to Iosefka's experiments, and her questline won't continue further.
After defeating Rom, the Vacuous Spider
This part of the quest only matters if you managed to snag the Red Messenger Ribbon from either the boar or by sending the daughter to Oedon Chapel. Go back to that window in Central Yharnam where you first interacted with her. You'll find her older sister there. Hand over the Red Messenger Ribbon.
After that, reload the area. Head down the ladder from their house, and you'll find a White Messenger Ribbon on her corpse. It's a bit grim, but that's how you wrap up this particular quest.
Eileen the Crow
Follow this guide to help Eileen the Crow in Bloodborne, learn her gestures, and join the Hunter of Hunters covenant. Don't miss out on her rewards!
Alright, let's talk about Eileen the Crow. She's a pretty important NPC, and helping her out can get you some cool stuff. We'll cover what to do after you unlock the Cathedral Ward gate, and then what to do after you've dealt with Rom.
After unlocking the Cathedral Ward gate:
So, you've opened that big Hunter Chief Emblem gate, right? Before you go and fight Vicar Amelia, head back to Oedon Chapel. Go out the back and take a left. You should see Eileen hanging out near the fence. She'll teach you the Shhh! gesture.
Now, make your way to the Tomb of Oedon. You'll find Eileen in the middle of a fight with a guy named Henryk. If you jump in and help her out, you'll get the Approval gesture and the Heir Rune from Henryk's body. Heads up: If you don't help her, she'll die, and her whole questline ends there. You won't be able to join the Hunter of Hunters covenant, but you can still grab the Crow Hunter Badge off her corpse if you want.
After defeating Rom, the Vacuous Spider:
Once you've taken down Rom, head back to the Grand Cathedral. You'll find Eileen waiting for you outside, and she'll teach you the Wait gesture. Go inside the Grand Cathedral, and you'll have another fight on your hands. After you win that one, go back to Eileen. She'll give you the Crow Hunter Badge and let you join the Hunter of Hunters covenant.
Drops from the final encounter:
- 2,318 Blood Echoes
- Crow Hunter Badge
