Tips
  • Familiarize yourself with the minimap (a small map displayed on the HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap), or Heads-Up Display, showing your immediate surroundings and objectives) to navigate effectively.
  • Utilize cover (objects in the environment that can shield you from enemy fire) to your advantage during firefights.
  • Aim for headshots (shots to the enemy's head) for critical damage.
  • Pay attention to any cutscenes (pre-rendered or in-game cinematic sequences that advance the story) for narrative context and objectives.
  • Reach checkpoints (automatic save points that allow you to resume from a specific point if you fail) to ensure progress is saved.

1. Introduction [TCRC3RS1]

Discover the world of Rainbow Six Mobile with this introduction to Raven Shield. Learn about gameplay, difficulty settings, and potential plot spoilers before you begin your mission.

This guide is for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield. The author initially disliked the game due to the instant death of characters when exposed to gunfire, but grew to enjoy it by learning to plan and execute commands properly. This guide assumes the player is using the Veteran Difficulty setting, noting that higher difficulties primarily increase the speed at which enemies shoot. The author emphasizes that the guide provides suggested answers and may spoil the plot, advising players who wish to experiment or avoid spoilers to refrain from reading.

An update (version 1.51) to the game has been released by Ubi Soft, which increases the power of some silenced weapons. The author has made adjustments to the guide to account for this update. Mission Background:

We're flashing back to 1945, right at the end of World War II. As the Allies are closing in, the bad guys, specifically the Ustache Regime in Yugoslavia, are trying to cover their tracks. Two guys, Peja Sicic and Dejan Blazlevic, are busy moving gold out of Montenegro. The really important stuff, the documents that prove their crimes, are hidden away, supposedly somewhere no one will ever find them.

Fast forward 60 years to 2005. A bank staff member in the First National Bank of Croatia, Zagreb, stumbles upon these very documents in the old archives. While he's reading them, terrorists storm the bank. They kill a female clerk, a security guard, and the staff member who found the documents. The terrorists confirm they have some of the evidence but not all, and their orders are to destroy what they can and wait for further instructions. Crucially, they only manage to destroy *part* of the evidence. That's where Rainbow comes in – your mission is to recover the remaining evidence and figure out the whole story.
