Health System:

Rainbow Six Mobile features a lethal health system represented by a circle. A full circle means your operative is ready. A half-full circle indicates a wounded operative, resulting in slower movement and increased reticule (aiming sight) recovery time. An empty circle means the operative is dead or incapacitated and will be out of action for future missions. Be aware that not all shots wound; some cause immediate death. It is advised to retry an action if even one of your team members is killed, as they will be replaced by inferior back-ups later.

The Importance of Crawling:

For operatives like Snipers and Recons, crawling is crucial. Sniper rifles, such as the M82A1, have long reticule recovery times. Crawling brings the reticule closer to the center, significantly reducing convergence time, allowing for quicker, undetected kills. For Recons, crawling helps avoid detection by patrolling guards, especially in Reconnaissance missions where being seen by a guard results in immediate failure.

Breaching:

Operatives specializing in Demolitions excel at planting and disarming explosives. They can place breaching charges on doors faster than most. Detonating a breaching charge can kill or stun terrorists behind a door, allowing for a surprise entry.

Seeing What You Cannot See (Recons):

In Reconnaissance Missions, the primary objective is to avoid enemy detection. To check for patrolling guards around corners, use the Heartbeat Sensor. This device displays electrical signals from heartbeats as small circles on your screen. Close proximity to a guard will be indicated by an audible beep. Following the movement of these circles helps predict guard patrol routes.

Purpose of Go Codes:

Go Codes facilitate synchronized assaults, allowing all three teams to storm a facility simultaneously. Set identical Go Codes at desired positions. When you see 'Waiting-Alpha' on the status bars of the other two teams and are waiting for the Alpha Go Code, press the corresponding button (J, K, or L) to initiate a simultaneous action from all three teams.

Setting Waypoints:

Planning is a key feature in Rainbow Six Mobile. In the Planning Room, you can set your teams' routes on a map of the mission area. Red Rectangles indicate insertion zones (starting points). The first waypoint for any team must be within an insertion zone. In hostage rescue missions, a hostage is only considered rescued when escorted to an Extraction Zone (marked by green areas on the map). Similarly, in the Reconnaissance Mission, completion requires entering the Extraction Zone. Therefore, the final waypoint for hostage rescue teams should be in a green area. For the Reconnaissance Mission, setting the last waypoint within a green area is wise for knowing where to proceed upon exit.

Map Symbols:

  • Red Crosses: Indicate the positions of terrorists.
  • Green Targets: Indicate the presence of a hostage.
  • Gold Squares with Circles: Indicate a mission objective (e.g., disarming a bomb, bugging a phone).

If your team is not directly completing a mission objective, it is recommended to set waypoints that pass through Green Targets and Gold Squares to ensure those objectives are addressed.
