Learn how to effectively use the M1 shotgun in Rainbow Six Mobile, covering its stats, ammo types (00 Buck Shot and Slug), and a detailed walkthrough of a test run.

Alright, let's talk about the M1 shotgun in Rainbow Six Mobile. This thing is a beast, especially up close, and it's a solid choice for any anti-terrorist team. We're going to break down its stats, the ammo types you can use, and then I'll walk you through a test run so you can see it in action.

Stats:

  • Shell Capacity: 6
  • Range: 8
  • Damage: 100
  • Accuracy: 1
  • Stability: 5
  • Recovery: 91

Ammunition Types:

  • 00 Buck Shot: This fires 9 bullets in a spread, making it absolutely devastating against unarmored targets. Plus, it's great for blasting open doors.
  • Slug: Think of this as a heavy-hitting slug, about the size of your thumb. It's got much better range than buck shot thanks to its built-in rifling.

Peripherals:

  • Mini Scope: This is a 3.5x scope that can be attached to most weapons. It's super useful for those longer shots, but be aware it does take up a good chunk of your screen, reducing your field of vision.

Test Run with Mini Scope and 00 Buck Shot:

Okay, so imagine this: I started out in an alley just outside a garage. I moved up, rounded a corner, and there was a terrorist chilling by a dumpster to my left. He was close enough that one shot from the M1 dropped him, even though the aiming reticle's sweet spot is pretty far out. After that, I headed right and opened the door. Boom, another terrorist right behind it, and he went down instantly. I then moved through a gap ahead, turned left, and took out another guy. Turning back towards the gap, I heard a few more terrorists coming around the corner behind it. I managed to get two of them, but the third one got away. While my Red Team was waiting for the Alpha Go-Code, I tossed a smoke grenade at the door next to the gap. Once the smoke was thick, I gave the Go-Code and turned left. Through my scope, I could see a bunch of terrorists, but they couldn't see me. I picked them off like shooting fish in a barrel. I then went down into the garage and cleared out any remaining enemies, looping back to the gap. Next, I went down the hallway where those three terrorists came from. I found two openings in the wall, tossed another smoke grenade at one, and once it was thick, I went through both openings, taking out the terrorists before they even knew I was there. I then moved through a room and continued on.

Next up, I found myself in a locker room connected to a storeroom. A terrorist around the corner took a panicked shot at me, making me miss my first shot with the M1, but I got him. There was another one in the storeroom that I had to take out with the Mini Scope. After that, I went through the door on the other side of the storeroom. I was now in another garage, this one empty. I found a bigger opening leading outside. I threw my third smoke grenade at it. First, I turned left and took out a terrorist, then I looked outside through my mini-scope. Lots of targets out there! I picked them off with one or two shots each, except for one hiding behind a car. Two more were spotted on the other side of a big van and were also taken down from a distance with the Scope. I sent Green Team back into the garage through a door on the other side of the open space. I turned left, through another garage, and arrived at a car display room. I opened the door slowly and picked off any terrorists that showed up using the Mini Scope. Then, I gave the Go-Code for Red Team to search another side of the room. I noticed some terrorists on railings looking down from above. Thanks to the scope, I headshotted them. I walked up the stairs and took out two terrorists who weren't on the edges. I waited for Red Team to plant the breaching charge, then ordered them to open and clear the door. As soon as they opened it, I had the Go-Code, and Red Team busted in from the other side. Unfortunately, they killed Gutierrez instead of capturing him, and the mission failed! But hey, the test run was over. In total, I fired 40 shots, 34 hit, taking down 29 terrorists. That's 85% accuracy, which is pretty solid for a one-shot-kill weapon. The only real downside is the 6-shell capacity and reloading one shell at a time, which can be a bit slow.

Test Run with Mini Scope and Slug:

Now, let's try the Slug ammo. Started in the same alley outside the garage. Moved up, around the corner, and reached the garage entrance. This time, no terrorists here, so no initial kills. I noticed the aiming reticle's convergence limit is much better with Slugs. Moved right and opened the door. A terrorist was right behind it and went down immediately after seeing me, but this time he ran, and I saw blood spurting out. Moved forward to the gap and turned left. Took out the terrorist. Turned back towards the gap. A couple of terrorists ran out from around the corner behind the gap. Both were killed in one shot, and neither got away. Red Team was waiting for the Alpha Go-Code. I threw a smoke grenade at the door next to the gap, waited for it to thicken, gave the Go-Code, and turned left. I saw...
