Ready to take on the Tower of Mastery in Pokémon X and Y? Get the lowdown on your rival's party and prepare for Korrina's Gym challenge. Heal up and stock up!

Alright, so you've made it to the Tower of Mastery! This is where things start to heat up, and you'll be facing off against your rival again. Don't worry, I've got your back. Depending on which starter Pokémon you picked, your rival's team will have a slightly different look.

If you picked Chespin: Your rival will have a Meowstic (Level 28, Psychic), an Absol (Level 28, Dark), and a Braixen (Level 30, Fire).

If you picked Fennekin: They'll have a Meowstic (Level 28, Psychic), an Absol (Level 28, Dark), and a Frogadier (Level 30, Water).

If you picked Froakie: Their team will consist of a Meowstic (Level 28, Psychic), an Absol (Level 28, Dark), and a Quilladin (Level 30, Grass).

Just a heads-up, Meowstic's appearance and how it battles can change depending on whether it's male or female. Keep that in mind!

After you've dealt with your rival, Korrina will be heading to the Gym. But before you can challenge her, there's a Black Belt blocking the way up the tower. Once you're done here, it's a good idea to pop back to the Pokémon Center. Give your team a good heal and grab any extra items you might need. Then, it's time to head to the Gym!
