After beating the Champion in Pokémon X and Y, return to Vaniville Town. Your adventure continues with new Pokedex functions, the TMV Pass, and legendary Pokémon to find!
Alright, you've done it! You beat the Champion in Pokémon X and Y, and now you're back in your room in Vaniville Town. Pretty sweet, right? First things first, head downstairs and have a chat with your mum. She'll let you know that Professor Sycamore is waiting for you at Lumiose Station. Don't keep the good Professor waiting!
As you step outside, Shauna will catch up with you. She's looking to trade! This is a great chance to get a Pokémon you might not have started with. If you chose Froakie, she'll give you a Fennekin. If you picked Fennekin, you'll get a Chespin. And if Chespin was your starter, she'll offer you a Froakie. Just give her any Pokémon you have on hand or stored in your PC. Once the trade is done, it's time to head to Lumiose City. Use Fly and aim for the north side, landing you in North Boulevard.
From the Pokémon Center in North Boulevard, head clockwise. You'll spot Lumiose Station off to your left. Go on in – no need to be shy!
Inside the station, Sycamore's assistants will greet you. They've got an upgrade for your Pokédex: the National Pokédex function! This means you can now see every single Pokémon that's ever existed. Pretty cool, huh? After you've pocketed your souped-up dex, make your way north-east to Professor Sycamore himself. He'll hand you the TMV Pass, which is your ticket to visiting Kiloude City!
Whenever you're ready to travel there, just scan your pass on one of the orange machines. Kiloude City is packed with new things to discover, including the Friend Safari, where you can find all sorts of rare Pokémon. But hey, if you're not in a rush to get there, there are still a few other legendary Pokémon you can hunt down now that you're the Champion.
Three additional legendary Pokémon are now available for capture: Zygarde in Terminus Cave, Mewtwo in the Unknown Dungeon, and one of three legendary birds that are roaming around the Kalos region. Of course, you can also just chill, battle with friends, or do whatever else you fancy. The world of Pokémon X and Y is yours to enjoy!
