In the PC version of Metal Gear, you can change weaponry by pressing the numeric keys on your keyboard. To perform this trick, keep the numeric key of the weapon you want pressed. You will notice the display (your Heads-Up Display, or HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap)) going on and off, but the weapon will remain in your hands as long as you hold the key.
