Alright, so you've been through the wringer and ended up back in your cell. It's not exactly a five-star hotel, is it? First thing you'll notice is a corpse – yep, that's the DARPA chief. Grim stuff. Colonel's gonna call, and it's a long chat about Snake's past with Naomi. Try to pay attention, but don't sweat it too much if you zone out.

You should also give Otacon a ring. He's on his way, but honestly, he won't get there in time. Why? Because you're about to get called back for a second round of torture. If you're aiming for that good ending, you'll have to tough this one out. Just do what we did last time, and you should be okay.

Now, the main event: escaping the cell. When you get back from the second torture session, keep a sharp eye on the guard patrolling outside. He'll eventually clutch his stomach and head for the restroom. Shortly after, Otacon will show up, cloaked, and decloak right by your cell door. He'll call out to you. Run towards the door to trigger the scene.

Otacon can't bust you out directly, but he'll hook you up with a Level 6 card, some ketchup (weird, I know), and Sniper Wolf's scented scarf. He'll bail just before the guard returns, so you've gotta be quick.

You've got two options to make your break, and the guard's coming back any second. The clock is ticking!

1. The Ketchup Trick: This is a bit dramatic. Lay down on the floor and use that ketchup Otacon gave you. Snake will squirt it all over himself. When the guard walks in, he'll think Snake's dead and come into the cell to check. This is your moment: pop up and take him down. Warning: If you move even a little bit while you're down, the guard will spot you and you'll be busted.
2. Hide Under the Bed: This one's a bit simpler. Duck under the bed before the guard gets back. He'll come in, won't see you, and open the cell door to look around. As soon as he does, jump out and neutralize the guard before he can react and close the door.

Either way, you should be free now. Head out the door, which leads back to the torture room. You'll find a cardboard box floating around – grab it to get all your gear back. If you made it through Ocelot's little games, check your item menu. There should be a bomb Ocelot planted in there. Get rid of it by pressing the action button. After that, the Colonel will call, and Snake will be pretty fired up about getting revenge on Ocelot.
