Hello everybody, this is vinheim and welcome to my guide for metal gear solid peace walker. This project started when the game came out and its one of my favorite games and series overall. Its one of many guides I’ve written and I love this one in particular since its the first one I have on this site, gamerguides.com.
I’ll be covering from start to finish this game so you can get by the game with little to no problems so let’s start rocking this bad boy.
Also this is a spoiler-free guide. All the story’s ups and downs that were supposed to surprise me had such effect and I really think it’s not fair spoiling such story elements to you.

Complete walkthrough for OPS #1.5 MSF Mother Base in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Learn how to develop the Mk22 Rank 2 and Analyzer, and navigate the Mission Selector.
- 1Select Staff first and view the tutorial.
- 2Select Auto Assign to unlock Mk22 Rank 2 and Analyzer.
- 3Exit Staff and go to R&D.
- 4Start developing Mk22 Rank 2 from the Weapon tab and Analyzer from the Item tab.
- 5Wait for a mission to complete for development to finish.
- 6Return to the Mother Base menu and press L to open the Mission Selector.
- 7The Mission Selector has the following tabs: Main Ops (main game missions), Extra Ops (optional missions), Co-Ops (multiplayer), Cutscenes (view previously watched cutscenes), Regions (map overview), and All (all missions).
- 8Select the mission Contact the Sandinista Comandante.
- 9Choose either single-player or host a multiplayer game.
- 10On the next screen, you can change options, hear Briefing Files, and prepare for the Mission.
- The Mission Selector allows access to all mission types and game modes.
- Development of items and weapons takes time and requires mission completion.
