Unlock all seven Knighthood abilities in Gotham Knights to earn the A Worthy Successor achievement. Learn how to unlock Knighthood and gather the necessary Ability Points.

Hey there! So you're aiming for the 'A Worthy Successor' achievement in Gotham Knights? That's awesome! It's all about fully investing in your hero's potential. To snag this trophy, you'll need to purchase every single ability from the Knighthood Tree. There are seven abilities in total, and they'll set you back 11 Ability Points (AP). The best part? You only need to do this for one hero, so pick your favorite and go all in!

Don't sweat it if you've already spent a bunch of your AP. You can earn more AP by leveling up in New Game+. Each level you gain after hitting 30 gives you more AP than you got during your initial playthrough. Alternatively, you could always start a new character and level them up, but remember you'll need to unlock Knighthood for them all over again.

How to Unlock Knighthood

Before you can even think about buying those Knighthood abilities, you've got to unlock the tree itself. It's locked down at the start, but don't worry, it's not too tough. You'll need to complete a few specific challenges:

  • Timed Strike Training: Head over to the gym equipment in The Belfry. Once you're there, access the advanced training options, and you'll find the Timed Strike Training waiting for you.
  • One Step Ahead: You need to stop 10 Premeditated Crimes. Just cruise around Gotham, and keep an eye out for the red triangles on your map indicating these crimes. Complete 10 of them. If you're not seeing enough pop up, try doing some of the smaller crimes first – they often give clues that lead to bigger crimes, and you can analyze those clues back at The Belfry to reveal more targets.
  • Against All Odds: This one requires you to defeat three Minibosses. You'll likely knock this out naturally while you're busy with the Premeditated Crimes. Minibosses are usually the tougher, more imposing enemies you'll encounter, like the Godmother, Shocker, Bulldozer, or a Gladiator Talon.

Once you've wrapped up these challenges, head back to The Belfry. Go to the armor pieces located to the left of the main exit. You'll trigger a short cutscene, and boom – you'll unlock your Heroic Travel ability and, more importantly, the Knighthood Tree!
