Alright, let's talk about the new faces you'll be seeing in Gears of War 3. We've got the classic Locust Drone, Grenadier, and Boomer making a comeback. Honestly, they're pretty much the same as you remember from Gears of War 1, but don't get too comfortable. These guys can use cover just as well as you can, and the Grenadiers are packing shotguns and frag grenades. The good news? You're still the smarter one here. They'll often come right at you, making them easy targets as they advance. Just remember the basics: hold Left Trigger to aim, and Right Trigger to shoot. If you're taking too much heat, duck back into cover by letting go of Left Trigger to let your health regenerate.

We'll start seeing these guys pop up early on. In Chapter 1, after you get out of your room, you'll need to find Dom. Just walk out and hold Left Button to get moving towards your objective. Feel free to check out the scenery, but Dom's the priority to get things rolling.

Next up, you'll need to find Jace. Head up the stairs in the hall. You can take a peek outside if you want – you'll see a Lambent Stalker, and trust me, those things cause a ton of trouble later in Gears of War 3. Keep going up the stairs to trigger a cutscene that introduces Jace Stratton to your squad.

After that, it's time to meet Anya. Head up the stairs again and go through the door. Make two rights down the hall, and you'll complete that objective. Marcus will have a classic line for you: "You came between Dom and his radishes Lieutenant. This better be good."

Finally, you've got to meet Prescott on the Helipad. Head back down the hall the way you came. You'll be prompted to pull out your weapon. When the new enemy smashes through and takes out Nash – a random Gear – it's time to aim and fire.
