The Superbosses

Leveling Up: Aim for character levels in the upper-to-low 40s. A good place to gain experience is by fighting Grand Dragons. Ensure all characters have Antibody equipped to resist Venom Breath and Poison Claw, and Level Up to speed up the process. Melee characters should use MP Attack, and those with Distract can use it to avoid Poison Claw. Coral Rings can negate Thundaga, or you can reflect it for damage.

Grand Dragon Locations: Grand Dragons can be found in Popos Heights or on Lanar Island (southwest corner of the world map, same island as Qu’s Marsh). Lanar Island is convenient if you've completed the Chocobo Beach side quest for easy healing. Be aware of Gimme Cats on this island, who beg for Diamonds and may use Comet as a counter. Stick to grassy plains to find Grand Dragons; swampy tiles have Adamantoises, which are good for money, especially with Quina’s Millionaire ability.

Quale Preparation: Quale is the boss at the end of the 'Catching Frogs' minigame. Prepare for the boss fight when you catch the 99th frog, as it triggers immediately. Quina is mandatory for this fight. Equip abilities to negate status ailments: Darkness (Bright Eyes), Poison (Antibody), Silence (Loudmouth), and Confusion (Clear Headed). Protection from water damage is also crucial; Ribbons can provide this, and you should have at least three. Another Ribbon can be found at the Treno Auction House for approximately 80,000 Gil.

Fighting Quale: Quale uses status ailments like Darkness, Poison, Silence, and Confusion, as well as Water spells. Mini can be inflicted on individuals or the party and is cured with Remedies; Quina's Angel’s Snack uses a Remedy for each party member. Rolling Attack deals around 1500-2000 damage. Quale has about 55,000 HP and absorbs water-elemental attacks but is weak to thunder. Steal valuable items like Elixir, Ninja Gear, Glutton’s Robe, and Robe of Lords.

Quale Reward: Upon defeating Quale, you will obtain Quina’s ultimate weapon, the Gastro Fork.

Ozma Preparation: To find Ozma, you need the Sky Ability from the 'Chocobo Hot and Cold' side quest. Once obtained, go to the Chocobo Air Garden and examine the structure in the back twice to change party members and equipment. Complete the 'Friendly Monsters' side quest to make Ozma weak to shadow damage and allow melee characters to reach him.

Fighting Ozma: Ozma has a powerful move called Curse, which inflicts damage and ailments like Confuse, Poison, Slow, Mini, and Darkness. Auto-Haste can help counter some of these effects.
