Walkthrough
  1. 1
Chocograph Hunting: Obtain the Reef Ability to cross shallow water. Head to Qu's Marsh, find a beach to your west, and follow the coastline southwest. Go further into the water, pass an island near the coast, and head north to a small, round island. Look west to find the island from the Chocograph picture. Dig on the west side of this island to find a chest containing 8 Potions, 4 Phoenix Downs, 3 Ethers, and a Magician's Robe. This robe teaches Auto-Potion.
  2. 2
The location for Chocograph #10 is west of Qu's Marsh.
  3. 3
The location for Chocograph #11 is off the southern coast south of Qu's Marsh. Follow the coastline south until you see an island with a beach. Dig in the middle of the coast where the water meets the beach to find a chest with 4 Remedies, 2 Elixirs, 8 Rising Suns, and an Oak Staff. The Oak Staff teaches Vivi the spells Stop, Bio, and Drain.
  4. 4
Catching Frogs in Qu's Marsh: When Quina is in the party, you can catch frogs in Qu's Marsh. Run up to frogs on land and press the confirm button. Note the gender of each frog caught. Keeping at least one male and one female frog in the pond speeds up respawning. A golden frog further increases respawn speed. Rewards are given by Quale for catching frogs, up to 99. Catching 99 frogs triggers an optional boss fight. Frog catching also powers up the Frog Drop Blue Magic spell. Aim for 9 frogs to get a Silk Robe, which teaches Ability Up (doubles AP gained from battles). Frogs respawn when you are outside the marsh.
  5. 5
Burmecia Town: Head north from Gizamaluke's Grotto to find Burmecia. Behind the first crate on the left, find the Cancer Stellazzio. The Ironite enemy here can teach the Angel's Snack Blue Magic. Be wary of its Flame attack. The Magic Vice enemy (around 297 HP) can teach the Magic Hammer Blue Magic.
  6. 6
Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum will sic two Type A Black Mages on you. Defeat them.
  7. 7
Enter the building to your left. Find a Potion in a chest to the left and a Soft in a chest to the right.
  8. 8
Return outside and enter the building up the stairs to your right. A hidden chest behind the stairs contains a Soft. The chest at the top is a Mimic that summons a Magic Vice. Learn Magic Hammer from it if you haven't already.
  9. 9
Pass through the doorway to the left. Ignore the locked big door in the outside area. The chest up here is booby-trapped; walk to reach it to find a pair of Germinas Boots.
