Learn about the Tunneller Dwarf's traits in Dungeon Keeper, including its digging ability and behavior when converted.
The Tunneller Dwarf, also sometimes called the Mole, is generally the weakest member of the Heroes. Its sole purpose is to dig passages towards your Dungeon. When breaching through your walls, the heroes who follow along with it are free to attack and steal. Tunnellers possess little fighting power, but it is still better than that of your Beetles and the like. During the first missions of the game, the Tunnellers are tuned down a bit to make the fights easier to win.
As noted in the traits, Tunnellers have the bizarre behavior of mimicking Imps when they get into your possession. They can do any job the Imp does, but you can't use these while "possessing" him. Also, this 'Imp' is pretty strong and it does cost some money when it is payday.
