First things first, head into Amor Seco Springs. You'll see a bridge leading to a church. Even though it's closed for business, the priest outside will let you save your game. Chat with the woman at the entrance to hear about the town's famous 'Amor seco essence'. The Inn is full, so you'll have to talk to the innkeeper to find that out. There's also a bank and a few folks to chat with, but nothing else to grab in that area.

Now, let's check out the shops. Talk to the soldier standing guard; he'll give you a heads-up about what the lady inside the church *really* dislikes: treasure hunters! It's a good idea to grab at least one Broadsword for your Hero, and maybe one for Carver too. I personally kept Carver with his Sledgehammer or Chain Sickle, but it's smart to have a strong single-target weapon and a group-attack weapon for everyone so you can swap them out as needed.

Head across the church island to the far side. You'll find a well, but don't bother checking it – there's nothing down there. Instead, go into the house right next to it. Talk to the man inside; he's got some interesting backstory about an old woman named Evgenya who's cleaning the church. Apparently, she used to be a thief, and her lover vanished in the cave north of town. After you get the lowdown, search the chest of drawers at the back of the room. Bingo! You'll find a [MINI MEDAL] in there.

After you've snagged that, go up the side of the house and talk to the man there. If you answer 'No' when he asks if you want more info, he'll spill more details about that cave. It's pretty clear that the Mirror Key is inside, so we'll be heading there soon! You can also chat with the deaf old man if you want, and then head into the next house. Talk to the kid for a good laugh, and then open the drawer in the wooden chest – you'll get a [CHIMAERA WING].

Go down the hole in the floor (it's on the upper left side of the middle wall) and smash the first barrel you see. Score! It's an [AMOR SECO ESSENCE].

There's nothing else to find in that room, but talk to the happy guy. He'll give you a riddle: "With the mirror key in hand, objects in Moonmirror Tower are closer than they appear." Sounds like we've got a tower to explore soon!

Finally, cross back over the river using the higher bridge and enter the last house on the right. Talk to the family inside; they have some useful info. While there are a few pots and cupboards, they're empty. However, both bookshelves are worth checking. The left one has books like "Living in Harmony with Water," "A History of Earthquakes," and "Sorceria: The Lost City." The right one contains "Notes for the Monster Book of Jokes" – prepare for some groans!

Now, the priest has moved aside, and you can finally meet Evgenya. Head inside the church and save your game with the nun, then speak to the priest. He'll mention you can stay at the inn if you talk to Evgenya. Make sure you talk to him, or you won't be allowed to rest! There are no interesting books here, so just enter the door on the ground floor and break some pots and barrels. The rightmost pot has an [AMOR SECO ESSENCE], and the third pot contains a [HOLY WATER]. The barrels and cupboards are empty. After all that, talk to the waiting woman, and you'll finally get to rest.
