    Enter the cave and proceed up the right side of the river.

    Talk to Evgenya.

    Cross the bridge.

    Walk to the top of the left side of the river to find a treasure chest containing a [SEED OF LIFE].

    Return over the bridge.

    Go down the hole to reach the lower floor. Be aware that enemies will appear here with a much higher encounter rate than on the world map.

    Encounter Metal Slimes on the first floor near the left hole.
