    From Weaver's Peak, head to the plateau where enemies now appear. Prioritize defeating Scare Roots due to their dancing attack. Return to Weaver's Peak to rest and heal if needed.

    Descend the visible steps at the south of the plateau.

    At the bottom, walk left to talk to Buddy if desired.

    To get better equipment, head left over the bridge and jump off the ledge to find a treasure chest containing the Wayfarer's Clothes.

    After leaving the inn, head south down the steps to leave the mountain. By this point, Hero should be Level 4 and have learned the Heal spell.

    On the World Map, follow the track south and west to find Haggleton. Continue south to see Somnia (entry denied without a pass) and then Gardsbane Tower (entry also denied). Beware of large enemy groups (5-6 at once) if you travel too far off the main path.

  • Scare Roots can inflict a dancing status, making you unable to act. Defeat them quickly.
  • The Oaken Club is a significant upgrade over the starting Stick.
  • Heal spell learned around Level 4 is very useful for in-battle and field healing.
