Alright, so you've arrived at the far northwest corner of the world map, and there's a new town just a stone's throw away. If you head straight north and then east, you'll find a house with a well inside it, way up in the northeast part of the map. However, a tired person is blocking the way, so you can't get in just yet. Don't worry about battles on the world map right now; you're on an island with mountains blocking access to the west.

Head into the town and go straight to the priest to save your game. Just say 'Yes' to his question, and you'll get the option. Even though you're in a weird form, you can still smash pots and chat with folks. You won't be able to buy anything, so I'll skip the shop inventories for now, but you can press Y to peek at those tempting items you can't get your hands on!

Listen to what everyone's saying; it'll give you clues about what's going on, though you might be a bit confused about your current 'appearance.' In a pot to the right of the top-left shop, you can snag 20 GOLD COINS. The guy behind the counter will mention a mirror that shows the truth. You'll hear more about this from a husband in another house. Go into the house to the right of the shop, and check the chest of drawers to the left of the stairs. Inside, you'll find some HARDWOOD HEADWEAR. Head upstairs and examine the bookcase to find a book titled "A Slime's Story: Part One." (Ah, the glamorous life of a fame seeker!)

Go to the back of the house where two characters are discussing a potential kidnapping. Then, talk to the man in the next house for a bit more info. There's a set of PLAIN CLOTHES in the wardrobe here, but no exciting books or anything else to pilfer.

The first time you enter the large house at the top right of the village, a dog will run out barking, but it'll leave you alone after that. You can check out two statues of 'brave' warriors and find a MEDICINAL HERB in the bottom-left pot in the kitchen. Snag a PRETTY BETSY from the wooden drawers in the bedroom.

Enter the Inn through the left door and smash the single pot in the lower-left corner of the room (next to a bed) to find a SEED OF LIFE. You can secretly stay the night if you chat with the Innkeeper. You can leave through the other door, which puts you right next to the well. If you talk to Primrose and Basil by the well, you'll learn a bit more about that house to the northeast, which is your next stop. But first, hop down the well! Inside a chest of drawers to the right of the rope, you'll find your first MINI MEDAL. To check how many you've collected, open your Attributes menu and click on the Wagon symbol.

After chatting with everyone and gathering what intel you can, it's time to leave town. You can't buy anything or use the Bank, so there's not much reason to stick around. You'll run into enemies on your way to that northeast house: plenty of easy Slimes, the familiar Batatouille, and Leery Lout. The only real annoyance might be the Stumpkin, which uses Sap to lower your defense. This means even those harmless slimes can hit for 2 HP instead of their usual 0 or 1! Heal up if you need to.

When you finally reach the house, the guard will be gone, and you can head inside. There's nothing to find here, but a well is glowing with a green light, and I guess that's your invitation. Jump in!
