Contract 08: 08 Blind Justice

After accepting the contract, you'll need to locate the target ship. Check your map for a large green investigation zone to the southeast. Sail towards it. You'll find the target's escort—three brigs—just south of the larger island that's south of Ile a Vache. (I found them around coordinates 825,112).

Your first objective is to take down these three brigs. Once you attack them, they'll split up and sail north along the coast. Follow them and destroy them by either sinking them or boarding them.

After dealing with the escort ships, the main target, a large Man o' War, will appear on your map. It'll be located just south of Ile a Vache, north of the island you just chased the brigs around.

Sail over to engage the Man o' War. This ship is a tough opponent. It fires mortars from a distance, so you'll need to maneuver to avoid them. If you get too close, its broadside and heavy shot attacks are devastating. Try to maintain a safe distance and find an angle where you can attack effectively while staying out of its primary firing range. Don't linger on its broadside unless your hull is heavily upgraded.

Once the Man o' War is sufficiently damaged and incapacitated, approach it to initiate a boarding sequence. During the boarding, you'll need to defeat 20 of its crew members and assassinate its captain. Completing this will finish the contract.
