Memory 03: 03 Tainted Blood

From the start, head to the investigation area around the large church. Work your way along the eastern rooftops and kill the Gunner. Use the fountain as a landmark and Eagle Vision to spot your target near a group of soldiers.

Hide until the entourage moves, then backtrack across the rooftops, keeping them in sight. Climb a ladder, turn left, and stay on the rooftops. Follow them around a corner. Wait for them to kill some people and move on.

Hop to the right side of the street and follow them. Sneak up and assassinate the first Gunner on a raised section of roof. Spot and neutralize the second Gunner ahead.

Assassinate the sleeping guard and continue following the targets along the rooftops. Deal with the enemy on the final rooftop and the Gunner on the lower roof to the right. Observe the group below; your target will enter the fort.

Dive into the water and swim to the side of the fort. Climb up, clear the guard at the top, and then the Gunner to the right. Wait for the target to come within range in the courtyard.

Alternatively, climb to the fort's rooftop, drop to a small beam below, and use it to reach a nearby tree. Use the branches to get to the fort wall, climb to the top, hang from the ledge until the guard moves, and assassinate him.

In the open area with ramparts, put one patrolling guard to sleep (e.g., the left one) and stalk and kill the guard on the right. Then, kill the sleeping guard.

From halfway down the right wall overlooking the courtyard, stand near crates. Wait for the target to come near and perform an air assassination.

After the cut-scene, if you avoided combat, you'll complete the optional objective.

Prepare for a boss-like battle against an armored enemy vulnerable only to pistols. Your swords and hidden blade will not work.

During the fight, use guards as human shields for an optional objective. Counter and throw guards without damaging them until you have two human shield kills. If you kill them, find stairs to alert more enemies.

Keep some distance from the boss to force him into shooting range. Dodge his axe attacks. A strategy is to run laps around the battlements, shooting twice, starting a reload, and running off. Repeat when he reloads.

If you run out of pistol ammo, ammo crates with green objective markers will appear. Get away from the boss to interact with them. If they are buggy, break line of sight and loot fallen guards.

After enough shots, a scene will play. Hop over the wall into the water and escape the area.
