Alright, let's talk about Fort Charlotte. This one's a bit of a tricky one, not because of the fort's defenses themselves – it's got 5, which breaks down to 2 cannon walls and 3 towers, plus some mortars from above – but because of the ships hanging around the area. You'll often find 3 to 6 brigs nearby. The second the fort spots you, these ships will make a beeline for you. So, your first move should be to either lure those hostile ships away and sink them, or even better, use the fort's own attacks to help you take them down before you even think about the fort itself.

Once the sea is clear or at least manageable, dock your ship in the permitted area and follow the path inland. You'll need to climb some stairs until you hit a locked gate. To get past it, hop over the wall to its right. At the top, turn left and climb another short wall. This is where you'll find your first Officer, along with two Brutes. Take them out.

After dealing with the first group, head to the end of the platform on your right. From there, you should be able to spot the second Officer down in the courtyard below. Drop down and engage him. Clear out any other enemies hanging around the courtyard, then climb the wall to the south. Keep heading straight, tackling any enemies in your path, and ascend the two sets of stairs. At the very top, follow the path curving to your left. You'll find the third and final Officer chilling in a grassy lookout area. Get rid of him.

With all three Officers down, look for the door marked with the green objective marker nearby and open it. There's one last enemy inside. Take him out, and congratulations, Fort Charlotte is yours!
