Understanding Stigma Stones

Stigma Stones are special items that grant or enhance skills. They come in various tiers and types:

• Basic Stigma Stones: These are the most common and typically grant fundamental skills or minor enhancements.
• Greater Stigma Stones: These offer more potent skills and often form the core of specialized builds.
• Vision Stigma Stones: These are the most powerful, often unlocking ultimate abilities or completely transforming a playstyle. They usually require a specific combination of other Stigma Stones to activate.

Each class has a unique set of Stigma Stones available, designed to complement their role and provide diverse build options. You can view your available Stigma slots and potential Stigma skills through your character window (default key: P) under the "Stigma" tab.

Acquiring Stigma Stones

Stigma Stones can be obtained through several methods:

• Quest Rewards: Many quests, particularly those that guide you through your class progression, will reward you with essential Stigma Stones. Pay close attention to quest lines from your class trainers in major cities like Sanctum (Elyos) or Pandaemonium (Asmodian).
• Mob Drops: Certain elite monsters and instance bosses have a chance to drop Stigma Stones relevant to various classes. Farming specific instances can be a viable strategy for acquiring desired stones.
• Stigma Masters: In major cities, Stigma Masters (e.g., Stigma Master Telemachus in Sanctum, Stigma Master Skadi in Pandaemonium) sell basic Stigma Stones for Kinah. They also serve as your primary point of interaction for slotting and removing Stigma.
• Abyss Points (AP) Merchants: For higher-tier or PvP-oriented Stigma Stones, you may need to visit AP merchants in the Abyss Fortresses. These require a significant investment of Abyss Points earned through PvP combat.
• Broker: You can buy and sell Stigma Stones on the in-game Broker. This is often the quickest way to acquire specific stones if you have the Kinah.

Slotting and Managing Stigma

To use Stigma Stones, you must slot them into your character's Stigma slots. This process requires a visit to a Stigma Master.

1. Locate a Stigma Master: Find your faction's Stigma Master in the main city (e.g., Sanctum, Pandaemonium). They are typically marked on your map with a distinctive icon.
2. Open the Stigma Window: Interact with the Stigma Master. This will open your Stigma window, displaying your available slots and any currently slotted Stigma.
3. Slotting Stigma: Drag and drop the desired Stigma Stone from your inventory into an empty Stigma slot. Confirm the action. Note that slotting Stigma costs a small amount of Kinah.
4. Activating Vision Stigma: If you have met the prerequisites for a Vision Stigma (i.e., slotted the correct combination of Basic and Greater Stigma Stones), the Vision Stigma slot will become active. Drag and drop the Vision Stigma Stone into its designated slot to unlock its powerful skill.
5. Removing Stigma: To change your Stigma build, you must remove existing Stigma Stones. This is also done at a Stigma Master. Right-click on the slotted Stigma Stone you wish to remove and confirm. Removing Stigma costs Kinah, and the removed Stigma Stone will be destroyed. There is no way to retrieve a removed Stigma Stone.

Strategic Stigma Builds

Your Stigma build should be dynamic and adapt to the content you are undertaking. Consider the following:

• PvE Builds: For dungeons and questing, focus on Stigma that enhances your damage output, survivability, or utility for group content. For example, a Cleric might prioritize healing-focused Stigma for instances, while a Gladiator might opt for AoE damage Stigma for faster mob clearing.
