Legions, Aion's guild system, are the cornerstone of community and cooperative gameplay. Joining or creating a Legion offers numerous benefits, from shared resources and buffs to organized PvP and PvE content. This guide will walk you through the process and highlight key features.

Joining a Legion

For new players, joining an established Legion is often the quickest way to integrate into the game's social fabric and gain immediate advantages. Many Legions actively recruit new members, especially those willing to learn and contribute.

• In-Game Search: Open the Legion window (default hotkey 'G'). Navigate to the "Search" tab. You can filter by Legion name, member count, or even specific activities they focus on (e.g., PvP, PvE, Crafting).
• Recruitment Chat: Keep an eye on the LFG (Looking for Group) chat channel, as well as general chat in major cities like Sanctum (Elyos) or Pandaemonium (Asmodian). Legion recruiters frequently post messages there.
• Player Interaction: If you enjoy playing with a particular group in an instance or open-world content, don't hesitate to ask if their Legion is recruiting. Personal invitations are common.

Creating a Legion

If you prefer to forge your own path and lead a community, creating a Legion is a rewarding endeavor. Be prepared for an initial investment and ongoing commitment to manage your members.

1. Meet the Requirements:
   • You must be at least Level 10.
   • You need 100,000 Kinah to register the Legion.
2. Visit the Legion Administrator:
   • Elyos: Find the Legion Administrator Diana in the Artisans Hall of Sanctum.
   • Asmodian: Locate the Legion Administrator Votan in the Temple of Artisans in Pandaemonium.
3. Register Your Legion:
   • Speak to the Legion Administrator and select the "Create Legion" option.
   • Enter your desired Legion name (ensure it's unique and adheres to naming policies).
   • Confirm the Kinah expenditure.
4. Recruit Members: Once created, you can invite other players to join your Legion. Open the Legion window, navigate to the "Members" tab, and use the "Invite" function.

Legion Levels and Benefits

Legions can level up by accumulating Legion Contribution Points, earned through various activities performed by its members. Higher Legion levels unlock significant benefits:

• Increased Member Capacity: Allows more players to join your Legion.
• Legion Warehouse Slots: Provides shared storage space for all Legion members, accessible from any Warehouse Manager.
• Legion Skills: Passive buffs that benefit all Legion members, such as increased Kinah drops, experience gain, or crafting success rates. These are purchased with Legion Contribution Points.
• Legion Cloaks: Unique cosmetic items that display your Legion's emblem and provide minor stat bonuses at higher levels.
• Legion Quests: Special quests available only to Legion members, offering valuable rewards and contribution points.

Legion Activities and Contribution

Active participation is key to a thriving Legion. Members contribute to the Legion's growth and standing through:

• Daily Quests: Many daily quests offer Legion Contribution Points upon completion. Check your quest log for available Legion-specific tasks.
• Instance Runs: Completing dungeons and instances with Legion members often grants bonus contribution.
• PvP Participation: Engaging in Abyss PvP, sieges, and Rifting with your Legion can yield substantial contribution.
• Donations: Some Legions allow members to donate Kinah or specific items to the Legion fund, which can be used to purchase Legion skills or maintain the Legion.
