This guide provides essential information for playing the Mage class in Aion. It covers fundamental game mechanics, including binding to obelisks, selecting targets, learning skills, resting, utilizing titles, and understanding stigmas. Game Basics:
- Binding to an Obelisk: Bind to an obelisk as soon as possible to set your resurrection point. This costs kinah. Pay the Soul Healer at the obelisk to remove death debuffs.
- Selecting Targets: Click on an NPC to select it for attack. Press
to cycle through nearby targets. Hostile NPCs are highlighted with a red circle, friendly NPCs with a yellow circle. - Learning Skills: Skills are learned from skill manuals or stigmas (after level 20). Skill manuals can be purchased from Trainers in villages and major cities like Pandaemonium and Sanctum. Some manuals drop or can be bought from the Broker. Right-click a manual to learn it, then drag it to your skill bar via the
menu. Lock the skill bar to prevent accidental changes. Passive skills increase attributes and do not need to be on the skill bar. The skill is recommended for the bar. - Resting: After battles, HP and MP regenerate faster when resting. Press the **comma** key to rest.
- Titles: Titles are awarded for completing certain quests and affect specific attributes. Access them via the
