Alright, so you've reached the notoriously tough mission where the game really tests your skills. It's all about smart unit production and knowing when to push. Don't worry, we'll get through this together!

Walkthrough

Early Game (Days 1-4): On your side, Max and Sensei should build t-copters and infantry. Your main goal here is to capture the single base located near some pipes. Meanwhile, Colin needs to grab four empty cities using just four infantry units.

Mid Game (Taking Cities & Defending): Once you've secured those initial two bases, Sensei's job shifts to holding off enemy attacks on his side of the map. This allows Max and Colin to focus on capturing more cities and expanding their territory. Max can actually handle a lot of his side of the map almost solo, so lean on him!

Colin's Role: Colin needs to start producing bombers as his primary unit. He should also build a few other units to keep his area secure while the bombers are being made.

The Push (Around Day 12): When you feel like Max has his side of the map sufficiently secured, it's time to make your move. Get a small fleet of at least two bombers from Colin. You'll also need an APC to refuel them. Take this bomber fleet up the right side of the map.

Taking the Death Ray: With Max securing the area, the bombers should face little resistance. Your target is the Death Ray. It can be destroyed in just two shots, and you can get a significant portion of its health down with the first bombardment (around 72% is possible!).

CO Recommendations:

Primary Frontline: Max or Sami are recommended. (Andy isn't the best fit here).
Support/Air: Colin is a great choice. (Grit and Olaf aren't ideal).
Air Power: Eagle can work well. (Sonja and Jess are less recommended).

Mission Specifics & Challenges:

This is considered the hardest mission, and you'll be facing two Black Cannons that limit your movement initially. You don't necessarily need to destroy both cannons; focusing on one is often enough.
If you manage to reach the cannons with a bomber that still has 9-10 HP, it's worth going for the Death Ray directly.
Warning: The Death Ray is a major threat! It's easy to forget about it in the heat of battle. Make sure to save your game often so you can easily restart if you overlook it. Forgetting it has happened to me every single time I've played this mission while writing the guide!
