Campaign:

Learn about the plot, new units, features, and COs in the campaign of Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising. Drive back the Black Hole Army and save Macro Land!

The campaign of Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising sees the Allied Nations fighting back against the invading Black Hole Army. After recovering from the war in Cosmo Land, the Allied forces must defend Macro Land from a large-scale invasion led by Sturm and his new Black Hole COs. The campaign involves driving out Black Hole from Orange Star, Blue Moon, Yellow Comet, and Green Earth, culminating in a final confrontation with Sturm and the destruction of the Death Ray. The story concludes with Hawke taking leadership of the Black Hole Army.

New Units: The Neotank, the strongest tank in the game, was introduced.

New Features:

• Silos: Rocket-like weapons that deal 3 damage to all units in a small area.
• Pipelines and Pipe seams: Impenetrable terrain features that can be destroyed to create gaps.
• New Black Hole weapons: Such as the Black Cannon, exclusive to the Black Hole Army.

New COs and CO Powers:

• Orange Star: Hachi
• Blue Moon: Colin
• Yellow Comet: Sensei
• Green Earth: Jess
• Black Hole: Hawke, Lash, Adder, Flak

All COs gained a normal CO Power and a Super CO Power, with Sturm only having a Super CO Power.
