Spann Island is your very first taste of Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising's War Room. It's a classic map that shows up in the first three games, and it's where you'll face off against Andy in this installment. In Advance Wars 1, you'd fight Olaf here, but for AW2 and Dual Strike, it's Andy's turf. There's a small change in Advance Wars DS: the neutral city at (9,9) becomes an Orange Star base. Keep that in mind if you're playing that version. For the speed demons out there, listen up: in Advance Wars 1 and 2, you'll need to finish Spann Island in 10 days to snag 100% Speed points. In Advance Wars DS, that target shifts slightly to 12 days for the same reward.
