Alright, so you've just booted up The Universim and you're wondering where to even begin, right? Don't worry, we've all been there! This section is all about getting your little people, your Nuggets, off to a solid start. Think of it as laying the foundation for your god-like empire.

First things first, the game will probably offer you a quick tutorial. It's a good idea to run through it – it'll cover the basics of camera controls and what your main goals are. After that, you'll be dropped onto your 'Mother Planet'. This place is randomly generated each time, so it'll always feel fresh, but it's got all the familiar bits like water, land, and weather, kind of like Earth.

Your very first building is super important: the Epicenter. This is where your civilization kicks off, and it'll spawn your first four Nuggets (two adults, two kids). The best spot for it? Try to find a place that's close to a water source, some trees (for wood), and loose rocks. Having these resources nearby means your Nuggets won't have to trek forever to get what they need. Once you've picked your spot, just left-click to place it. You'll get a confirmation pop-up, so just click again to lock it in.

Construction Essentials

With your first four Nuggets on the scene, the adults will start gathering resources while the kids explore. Your immediate priority is water. Click that hammer icon at the bottom left to open the Buildings menu, and find the Well under the Epicenter category. Place it near a good water source – the game will show you numbers indicating water quality, so aim for the higher ones. While the well is building, think about your next steps. If you have multiple water sources, you could build more Water Pumps or even Fisher Piers for food. More water sources just mean faster resource gathering.

Once the well is up and running, it's time for food. You can either stick with fishing or build Farms. If you go the farming route, you might need another water pump to keep those crops happy. Different crops have different needs – some prefer certain biomes or temperatures, and some take longer to grow but yield more. A good tip here is to start with a crop that doesn't need a ton of water.

As your population grows, you'll need to think about maintenance. Build an Engineer's Hut so your Nuggets can repair buildings. Trust me, you don't want your hard-earned structures collapsing! Also, consider a Hospital or a Cemetery. Injured Nuggets lose health over time, and dead ones can cause illness if not buried. Keeping your Nuggets healthy is key to a stable civilization.

Finally, you can add some 'accessories' to improve your civilization. Build an Eatery to turn raw food into prepared meals, or a Forecast Tower to get a heads-up on weather and seasonal changes. These aren't strictly necessary at the very start, but they definitely help down the line.

As your civilization expands, you'll just keep repeating this process: build more of what you need – more pumps, more farms, more hospitals. The game's population cap will eventually be removed as development continues, so keep an eye on that!
