Great Sea Exploration & Great Fairies

Scattered across the vast Great Sea are several Great Fairies, each offering powerful upgrades to your item capacities. Finding them often involves locating hidden grottoes or destroying rock formations.

Greatfish Isle - Rupee Upgrade

• Quest Giver: Great Fairy
• Location: Greatfish Isle (Quadrant C4, after it has been restored).
• Requirements: Restore Greatfish Isle by completing the Earth Temple.
• Walkthrough:
  1. Once Greatfish Isle is restored to its vibrant state (after defeating the boss of the Earth Temple), sail to its center. You will find a Great Fairy fountain.
  2. Enter the fountain and speak to the Great Fairy.
  3. Reward: She will double your current Rupee capacity, allowing you to carry 2000 Rupees.

Mother & Child Isles - Bomb Upgrade

• Quest Giver: Great Fairy
• Location: Mother & Child Isles (Quadrant E2 on your Sea Chart).
• Requirements: Have the Bombs.
• Walkthrough:
  1. Sail to Mother & Child Isles. You will see two islands, one larger ("Mother") and one smaller ("Child").
  2. On the "Mother" island, locate a large rock blocking a cave entrance. Use a Bomb to destroy it.
  3. Enter the cave. Inside, you will find a Great Fairy fountain.
  4. Speak to the Great Fairy.
  5. Reward: She will double your current Bomb capacity, allowing you to carry 60 Bombs.

Needle Rock Isle - Arrow Upgrade

• Quest Giver: Great Fairy
• Location: Needle Rock Isle (Quadrant A3 on your Sea Chart).
• Requirements: Have the Bombs.
• Walkthrough:
  1. Sail to Needle Rock Isle.
  2. Look for a large rock formation on the island. Use a Bomb to destroy it, revealing a cave entrance.
  3. Enter the cave and speak to the Great Fairy.
  4. Reward: She will double your current Arrow capacity, allowing you to carry 60 Arrows.

Northern Fairy Island - Rupee Upgrade

• Quest Giver: Great Fairy
• Location: Northern Fairy Island (Quadrant C1 on your Sea Chart).
• Requirements: Have the Bombs.
• Walkthrough:
  1. Sail to Northern Fairy Island.
  2. Locate the large rock formation on the island. .
  3. .
  4. Reward: She will double your current Rupee capacity again, allowing you to carry 5000 Rupees.

Southern Fairy Island - Bomb Upgrade

• Quest Giver: Great Fairy
• Location: Southern Fairy Island (Quadrant G5 on your Sea Chart).
• Requirements: Have the Bombs.
• Walkthrough:
  1. Sail to Southern Fairy Island.
  2. Find the large rock formation on the island. .
  3. .
  4. Reward: She will double your current Bomb capacity again, allowing you to carry 99 Bombs.

Eastern Fairy Island - Arrow Upgrade

• Location: Eastern Fairy Island (Quadrant E6 on your Sea Chart).
• Requirements: Have the Bombs.
• Walkthrough:
  1. Sail to Eastern Fairy Island.
  2. Locate the large rock formation on the island. .
