Purchase a spare 'Cedar' (Staff) for Kachua, giving her two staves instead of her '+1' armor to improve her healing.

Equip your characters: Denim with default gear and a Tower Shield (replacing 'Cure'), Male Soldiers 1 & 4 with Short Sword/Tower/Leather Armour/Leather Hat, Male Soldiers 2 & 3 with Short Bow and 3 Cures each, Female Amazons 1 & 2 with Sword/Tower/Leather Armor/Leather Hat, Female Amazon 3 with Short Bow and 3 Cures, and Female Amazon 4 with Sword/Bow/Leather Armor/Leather Hat. Aim for around 48-49 Physical Resistance for front-line units and around 40 for rear units.

On your first turn, charge everyone forward as far as they can go. Weaker back-row units will move first due to lower weight but should survive. Alternatively, move them four spaces ahead to lure enemies closer for front-row attackers.

Heal any unit whose HP drops to 50 in the early stages, as they may not survive two direct attacks and an arrow. Adjust healing based on enemy proximity.

Send Denim and a couple of other units, including a fodder-healer, towards the enemy injured by Canopus. Send the rest of your units through the middle and other side of the map where more dangerous enemies congregate.

Concentrate each group on one enemy at a time. Use bows and stones when units are out of range.

Vice should score a kill to reach level 3. Ensure neither Canopus nor Vice land the death-blow on the wizard/boss.

As an enemy Amazon and the wizard retreat, focus on wiping out remaining enemies. Collect Stat Cards as they appear.

Have Denim or another unit with around 20-25 EXP finish off the boss to reach level 4 or close to it.

Tips

Don't be stingy with 'Cures'; their cost is inconsequential.
Stat Cards can be picked up, but don't worry about giving them all to Denim if he's far away.
Kachua's healing is minor (around 15 HP tops), but it's better than nothing.
Once a few foes are defeated, ease back on healing frequency.
It is semi-rare but possible to encounter an enemy Amazon with a Spear and Battle Boots. Save before battle and attempt to Persuade her to join to acquire both items. Reloading the battle multiple times may be necessary, as finding this specific Amazon is uncommon.
