Alright, so we're heading into what the guide calls 'level 23.', which is really just a prep phase after you've visited Amorika Castle. This is where we really start fine-tuning our gear and making sure everyone's set up for success. Don't worry if you've got a bunch of characters already; the new recruits might not be as strong as your main crew, but we'll get them kitted out.

First things first, head to the shop. You'll want to grab two Balder Spears. These are great for characters like Aloser and Canopus. After that, it's time to make some quick cash. Go to the shop in Amorika and Auction off all your Cockatrices. Seriously, they fetch a good price. Once you've sold them, you'll notice seven Wing Rings appear in the 'Hand' equipment section at the very bottom of the shop's item list. Snag all seven of them!

Next up, we're off to Coritani. Here, you'll Auction your three Red Dragons. Once they're gone, three Fire Swords will become available. Buy those up. Now, for a little stat boost, you can use the 'Chicken' item (+10 VIT) on Harborym and 'Burger' (+10 INT) on Sisteena. Just jump into a mock Training battle to use them up quickly.

You might have noticed a new spot on the World Map called Swanzi Forest. It's not a major plot point, mostly just Skeletons and Ghosts, but it's worth a quick visit for the treasure. Go into a mock Training battle there, and keep an eye out for two Buried Treasures. The 'Red Team' enemies will be closest to the treasure spots. One is an Orb (high LUK) located in the water, and the other is also an Orb (high LUK) that requires you to burn away the grass first.

Completing these prep steps will make the rest of the game a lot smoother, especially when dealing with tricky terrain. Here’s how my party is equipped after all this:

2. Aloser: Balder Spear/Balder Armour/Balder Helmet/Wing Ring.
3. Harborym: Fire Sword X2/Balder Armour/Wing Ring.
4. Sisteena: Balder Staff X2/Balder Armour/Wing Ring.
5. Canopus: Balder Spear/Balder Armour/Balder Helmet/Battle Boots.
6. Ghost: Life Staff/Balder Staff/Balder Armour/Balder Helmet.
7. Sara: Balder Bow/Balder Armour/Balder Helmet/Wing Ring.
8. Presance: Balder Staff X2/Balder Armour/Wing Ring.
9. Forcas: Fire Sword/Crossbow/Balder Armour/Wing Ring.
10. Byan: Clear Staff/Balder Staff/Balder Armour/Wing Ring.

Quick Tip: You can also get Orbs from random battles at Bordo Lakeside, but honestly, it's not usually worth the grind since they aren't critical for most strategies.
