Preparation: Ensure your leader is level 12 and other units are level 11. For Canopus, his Weight must be below 489, achievable with a Slender Spear/Leather Armour/Battle Boots/Orb. For your Wizard, Weight must be below 481, achievable with a Clear Staff/Battle Boots/Orb x2. Match Orb Elements to your units' Elements if possible for better defense. If Orbs are unavailable, use only level 10 characters and hope for a Gryphon/Dragon ally. Save your game before starting.

Opening Moves: Move your Wizard forward to attack the Ninja above, distracting enemies from Byan. Canopus should move two spaces high from the Ninja and attack with his Slender Spear, nearly defeating it. Save again before this attack in case you kill it. Byan will then finish the Ninja.

Mid-Battle: Kachua will heal your Wizard or Canopus. Enemy troops will advance. Have your Archer attack the other Ninja; Forcas will likely finish it off. Denim can finish the Ninja with a stone, potentially reaching level 11. Aloser the Valkyrie should move behind Forcas and use magic on the Soldiers near Canopus.

Card Collection and Cockatrice: Move your Ghost onto the Vitality Card (+3) dropped by the Ninja and use magic on the two Soldiers to weaken them. Your Berzerker can move forward but may not reach enemies with his Crossbow. Move Voltel the Ninja to attack the Amazon. If the Cockatrice Petrifies anyone, Kachua should cure them. Have your Archer fire at the Cockatrice, and your Berzerker attack it (80% chance). Move the Berzerker to the 10H square to distract the boss, Dasa.

Wizard and Canopus Positioning: If your Wizard is still level 10, kill a Soldier; otherwise, use magic on the Cockatrice (avoiding allies) and position him over a Stat Card. Move Canopus to the 10H square to block Byan's path and finish off a Soldier.

Finishing the Cockatrice and Allies: Byan will finish the Cockatrice and any remaining Soldier. The Cockatrice drops the rare Undead Ring. Heal your Berzerker, collect the Undead Ring, and have Forcas kill the Amazon.

Boss Strategy: Surround the boss, Dasa, to prevent Guests from attacking him. Injure Byan/Forcas and heal them with Presance/Cleric/Ghost to level up your characters. Level 10 characters gain significant EXP from injuring/healing level 13 characters.

Leveling and Final Blow: Once all your characters are level 11, finish off Dasa with your Ninja to reach level 12. Avoid surrounding Dasa with Spear-wielders due to their wide attack range. The boss's Guard Whip is a guaranteed drop. Do not kill Forcas or Byan, as they will be lost permanently.
