Position Denim right behind Lans to discover Buried Treasure. The rarest items you can find are the 'Heal' or 'Clear' (magic spells). Save your game before moving Denim if you are particular about the item obtained, as canceling character movement resets the potential item. A 'Cure+' item is most common.

After obtaining your item, throw a stone at Lans (93% success rate in testing) to gain 12-18 EXP.

If Lans kills an enemy unit that drops a Strength Card, move Denim to that spot to increase his Strength (e.g., from 23 to 26).

Throw a stone at Mildain (72% success rate in testing) to receive 18 EXP. Denim may have almost 50 experience points by this point.

Have Kachua heal a nearly-dead Denim, followed by Lans healing him.

If Bapalu is alive and Denim can finish him off, do so. Otherwise, prioritize obtaining a nearby Stat Card and then throw a stone at an allied Guest with their back to you for the best success rate.

If Vice dealt minimal damage to the Boss unit and Mildain missed attacks, Bapalu might be left with 1 HP. Denim can kill him by facing his back from a higher elevation and throwing a stone (100% success rate), or by using his direct attack.

A Boss kill in this mission or the next will instantly push you to level 2. Any excess EXP gained will be lost, and you will start from 0 EXP for the next level.

All bags of treasure from defeated enemies are collected automatically after victory. Stat Cards are not, so prioritize picking them up. If an enemy has a special piece of equipment, retrieve the treasure immediately to prevent an enemy or Guest from stepping on it.
