Hey there! So, you're curious about how Sly gets those awesome upgrades, right? Well, a lot of it comes from his ancestors, and Otto van Cooper is a big one for vehicle tech. He was a super-smart mechanic and a crack fighter pilot, which is pretty cool. Since he wasn't the most physically gifted thief, he used his mechanical genius to pull off heists, making machines do the heavy lifting. Otto kept a lot of his blueprints in the _Thievius Raccoonus_. You might notice his biplane's propeller blades are shaped like the classic Cooper hook – a neat signature touch! Vehicle Upgrades from Otto's Designs: When Sly gets Otto's section of the _Thievius Raccoonus_ back after beating the Panda King in _Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus_, he gets to use Otto's designs to upgrade the Cooper Van. These aren't just cosmetic; they're essential for certain missions: * Battering Ram: This goes on the front of the van. It's super useful for smashing through obstacles, like those pesky fire slugs trying to destroy important computers that Bentley needs. * Turret: This replaces the old satellite on top.
