Follow this Red Dead Redemption 2 walkthrough to rescue Uncle from the Skinners. Learn how to get headshots with the bow, achieve 80% accuracy, and return to Beecher's Hope quickly for the Gold Medal.

Alright, so you've just finished building that barn at Beecher's Hope. Time to kick back with Uncle and the boys, right? Well, after a bit too much to drink, you wake up and Uncle's gone missing! Charles notices some signs pointing to the Skinners, so it's up to you and him to go find our old pal.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
First things first, head up to Tall Trees following the marker. Once you get there, Charles will have you stash your horses in a designated spot. Make sure you've got a rifle in your loadout along with your bow – you'll need both.
  2. 2
As you start searching the area, you'll run into two Skinners. This is your chance to get those headshots with the bow for the Gold Medal. Use Dead Eye to line them up perfectly. If you miss this chance or don't get both with the bow, Charles will end up taking one out, and you won't get credit for the headshot.
  3. 3
Keep an eye out for a wagon passing by – just ignore it. Then, you'll see another wagon dragging a man behind it. When it stops and the Skinner gets off, use your bow and Dead Eye again to get another headshot.
  4. 4
Continue following the trail until you reach a big boulder. Pull out your binoculars and scan the area. You'll spot Uncle tied up near a campfire.
  5. 5
After a scene where Charles saves you just in time, you'll enter Dead Eye. Wait for the marker to appear over the head of the Skinner near Uncle, then pull the trigger.
  6. 6
Now, stealth is pretty much out the window, but that boulder you're on is a fantastic vantage point. If you still need those bow headshots for the Gold Medal, this is your last chance. Use Dead Eye to get them. Once you're done with the bow, switch to your rifle and take out any remaining Skinners around the camp. If you start taking too much damage, duck behind some crates for cover.
  7. 7
After you've dealt with all the Skinners, take a moment to let your Dead Eye meter refill before you go cut Uncle loose.
  8. 8
Charles will then carry Uncle, and you'll escort them back to your horses. To get the Gold Medal, you need to make it back to Beecher's Hope within 3 minutes and 10 seconds. You'll be attacked from the left and right as you move, so use quick bursts of Dead Eye to land headshots and keep moving. Repeat this until you reach the horses.
  9. 9
Mount up and follow Charles, taking out any pursuers without messing up your accuracy for the Gold Medal. Once you're clear of Tall Trees, gallop as fast as you can back to Beecher's Hope to finish the mission and get Uncle the help he needs.
