Storm Badge - A Lighthouse and An Ocean Crossing

Olivine City Prep: When you first arrive in Olivine City, make a beeline for the Pokémon Center to heal up and the Poké Mart to restock on supplies. You'll find them in the southern part of the city, near the port. As you explore, you'll meet your rival, who'll mention that the Gym Leader isn't in the Gym but is actually at the Glitter Lighthouse.

Get the Good Rod: In the house just south of the Pokémon Gym, there's a fisherman. Talk to him, and he'll give you the Good Rod. This is a great fishing rod that lets you catch decent Pokémon, and you'll definitely want to use it soon, especially on Route 40, as we'll need a Pokémon that can use Surf.

Trade for Voltorb: If you're looking to mix up your team, head to one of the two houses in the northeast part of the city. You can trade a Krabby for a Voltorb here. It's a pretty fair trade!

Obtain HM04 (Strength): In the house right next to the Pokémon Center, you'll find a man at a table. Speak with him to receive HM04 (Strength). This HM teaches the move Strength, which is a solid Normal-type move, but more importantly, it allows you to move boulders in the field. You won't be able to use it right away, but keep it handy!

Head to Glitter Lighthouse: The Glitter Lighthouse is located in the southeastern part of Olivine City. Be prepared, because this place is packed with Trainers!

Navigating Glitter Lighthouse: The general strategy for climbing the lighthouse is pretty consistent: on the first and second floors, you'll go counterclockwise around the rooms, defeating trainers as you go. On the third and fourth floors, switch to a clockwise direction. For the initial floors, try not to fall down any holes, as they'll just send you back down and make you backtrack.

Fifth Floor Discoveries: Things get a bit more interesting on the fifth floor. When you enter, head south to find TM34 (Swagger). This TM teaches a move that drastically raises the target's Attack but also confuses them. After grabbing the TM, make your way clockwise around the room. You'll battle a Trainer and then find a Rare Candy, which boosts a Pokémon's level by one! After getting these items, you'll want to drop down the hole in this area.
