Your Pokémon Crystal walkthrough to Azalea Town! Get the Togepi Egg, Miracle Seed, Old Rod, and navigate Route 32 and Union Cave.
Walkthrough
- 1After obtaining the Hive Badge, Professor Elm will call, instructing you to visit the Pokémon Center in Violet City. Speak to his aide next to the counter to receive a Pokémon Egg. Keep this Egg in your party; it will eventually hatch into a Togepi.
- 2If you bring the hatched Togepi to Professor Elm in New Bark Town, he will give you an Everstone, an item that prevents Pokémon from evolving.
- 3Heal your party at the Pokémon Center.
- 4From Violet City, head south to reach Route 32.
- 5On Route 32, head southeast and speak to the man near the rocky hill to receive a Miracle Seed, which boosts Grass-type moves by 10%.
- 6Continue south through the grass. You'll encounter trainers. Near the end of the southwest path, you can find a Potion.
- 7Follow the main road south, passing another trainer.
- 8Both paths converge. Head south again to a fork. The eastern path leads to a bridge with trainers. The southern path goes through grass and has another trainer, with a Great Ball located east and north of them.
- 9These paths converge again. To the southeast is a Pokémon Center.
- 10Before heading to the Pokémon Center, go north from the convergence point and examine the last tile at the end of the path to find a hidden Great Ball.
- 11In the Route 32 Pokémon Center, heal your Pokémon and speak to the fisherman near the counter to obtain the Old Rod, which allows you to fish for Pokémon.
- 12South of the Pokémon Center, you'll find one last trainer. To the west of this trainer is the entrance to Union Cave.
