Guide to completing the 'Clearing The Air' task in Mass Effect: Andromeda. Learn how to find consoles, defeat Kett ambushes, and disable Kett operations.

Alright, let's tackle 'Clearing The Air' in Mass Effect: Andromeda. This one's a bit of a scavenger hunt, so buckle up! It's one of those quests where you're looking for randomly spawning consoles in Kett camps. Honestly, the best way to get this done is to just keep an eye out for these consoles while you're busy with other, more straightforward quests. You'll know you've started it when you find the first console in one of these unmarked Kett camps.

After you've scanned the first console, you'll need to track down two more. Keep exploring those Kett camps – they're not marked on your map, and the consoles themselves pop up randomly. Once you've scanned all three, SAM will finally be able to pinpoint a Kett control center for you.

Now, head to the control center. It's located north of the Forward Station that's east of Hjara Station. More specifically, it's near the Northern Holding Station – you know, the place where you rescued those Angaran captives during the 'Stage a Rescue' quest. Make your way back to that abandoned Kett complex. Inside one of the structures, you'll find a console on the wall. Interacting with it is going to trigger a Kett ambush, so be ready!

You'll be facing a decent squad of Kett, including some tough ones like Chosen, Anointed, and Destined. The good news is that the building you're in offers some decent cover. Your best bet is to guard the entrances, which are mostly to the north. Once you've dealt with the Kett, you and SAM will have a little chat about their plan, which apparently didn't go quite as they hoped.

After the fight, return to that console on the wall. Use it to open the door to the south. Then, head into the next room and use another console there. This action will disrupt the Kett's ability to deploy their forces from the air. For your troubles, you'll earn 23 AVP, boost Voeld's viability by +2%, and get 530 XP.
