Follow this guide to complete the Frequency mission in Mass Effect: Andromeda, including how to start it, deal with Adhi, and make your final decision.

Alright, let's get this Frequency mission sorted out! You've got a couple of ways to kick things off. You can either chat with an Irritated Researcher you'll find in Hjara Station, or you can just cruise around in your Nomad near a spot in the north-central part of Voeld that's giving off some weird interference. If you go the researcher route, make sure to interact with the Console nearby after you talk to them – that'll give you a lead and a navpoint to follow.

No matter how you start it, you'll need to drive over to the navpoint. It's located a bit east of Hjara Station, and to the northeast of a Remnant site. When you finally get there, you'll spot what looks like a meteorite, and yup, that's the source of all that interference.

Get ready, because as soon as you get close to the meteorite, a pack of Wild Adhi will spawn. Take them out! Scanning them, whether they're alive or dead, will actually count towards completing another quest called “Task: Comparatively Alien,” so get those scans in.

Once the Adhi are dealt with, it's time to scan the meteorite. SAM will chime in with a solution, and you'll need to start dampening the signal. This is a bit of a slow process, so you'll need to hold down the [Triangle]/[Y] button. Just when you think you're making progress, more Adhi will show up! When they do, you'll have to abandon the dampening task to deal with them. Don't worry, you'll lose your progress on dampening the signal, but the next attempt will go much faster. After you finish up, Jaal (if he's with you) will comment on this chunk of space debris. Then, you'll get a choice: do you want to move the rock to the Nexus for more study, or leave this dangerous meteorite behind? For your efforts, you'll snag 270 XP, 29 AVP, and boost Voeld's viability by +2%.
